Life is full of momentary
pleasures. The defining feature of our existence is transience: the
deeper our knowledge grows, the more our lives seem more and more
obscure in the grand scheme of things. And that's when knowledge must
be counteracted by wisdom. We are here in a delicate moment. We are
creatures of divine organization, containing incomprehensible nuance.
We continue to grow, as individuals and a species, like a mandala
becoming increasingly complex. We contain universes which bump into
each other in conversation.
There is a light within the
heart of every person that yearns for something beautiful, that wants
to know peace. It runs out in strands over every conversation,
decision, and gesture. It's secretive; only because it's so intimate
and meaningful. It's the hidden knowledge, deep within us, of the
transience of life. And from that same place, we feel ultimately
grateful for every opportunity - for every smile, every shared story,
every beautiful view of this one earth, during this one life.
